Agents Bartholomew & Co reported a yarding of 537 head of cattle at their Beaudesert Regular Cattle Sale on Saturday 2nd May.  A magnificent display of weaner steers and heifers came to hand and sold to a very buoyant market, with competition from both local and travelled buyers.  Feeder steers sold to a dearer market, as did quality heifers with breeding potential.
